Mr. B finally read my blog today. He loved the idea of me writing about our life together. He was so excited that he wanted to start his own blog. I started his blog and told him he has to watch his mouth. We will see if the lineman talk will be toned down on his blog or if he will even post to his blog.
It is so funny see what I have to put up with on a daily basis. It is starting to wear me out a bit. I know Mr. B works hard and often but sometimes I would like him to finish a project at home. I am one of those wives that enjoy helping with projects. Everytime I see him out there working in the yard or the garage I go and ask if he needs help or if there is something I need to start out. I do this for a couple of reasons, one because it is our home and I take pride in our home and two because if I do not go out there and help, he comes back inside on the couch and does not move. Why is that? I blows my mind. I won't even start about helping around the house, granted I am not working right now but I have a feeling when I do start working again it is not going to change.
I know I am not the only woman or line wife that feels this way. I grew up watching my mom take care of the house 24/7. I remember mom and I changing out a broken window in the house, laying flooring, dry wall, building things and any other maintenance that she needed to get down. She was lucky she had me. Is there a secret out there from those women that can get their husband or significant others to help do things? If so could you please share that secret with me? I could use the ideas.
Mr. B is going to read this and I am going to get a lot more down just because he read this. I will let you know if he starts doing things around the house.
